Dreams Course
Is your life boring? Are you going through the motions, waiting for that occasional day
off or once a year vacation? Too many are. With mental health at an all-time low,
something is missing in society and I know what it is: the spirit of adventure. We got
soft, complacent in our little technology filled safety bubbles. Somewhere people lost
their zest for life and with it a willingness to take risks. No more. What you need is a
dream, a big audacious goal to shoot for. Something hard, that few ever achieve. Don’t
have a dream, know where to start, or how to make it a reality? That is where this book
comes in. Written as mentorship for an aspiring dreamer, I walk you through
understanding yourself, help you relate that understanding to a dream specific to you
and then tailor a vision to make the impossible possible. Along the way we will learn
about how to survive this journey day-to-day and go over major pitfalls you will most
decidedly encounter. Join me in this journey of self-discovery and reclaim your life. I can
mentor you but remember, “if it is to be, it is up to me”!

What Matters – Armed with a foundation of who you are, we start building the framework of who you want to become. Thus, the dream, any dream, starts with whatmatters to you.

Framework 6. Nodes
Nodes – Very often what matters to you is impacted by certain “nodes” in your life.
These bumps in the road can throw us off course or show us we are built well. Care to find out?

Framework 9: Let Go
Let go – By this point, you have a working set of dreams. Will they be successful? Quite possibly, no. This is why I walk you through hard questions to ask about whether a dream is right for you, how long you should try, and how and when to pivot if you were mistaken.

A Map – Any good journey needs a map. So do you. Great, let’s create one!
-
Framework 13: Vision, Write it down.
Write it Down! – Maps and plans don’t work if they are all up in our head. You need to write them down, look at them, and have others review it. This is your framework. Did you do a good job?

Framework 14: Mo’ Value
Mo’ Value – Armed with your map, you now know where you are going and how to get there. Time to get started, or more importantly, time to learn how to keep going.

Framework 15: Switchbacks

Framework 17: Say Yes
Say Yes – Your life is full of no’s. Find ways to say yes more. One of the easiest is to stay aware of the present, not the past or the future.

Framework 19: Balance

Framework 20: Putting it all together
Putting it all Together – Only a person equipped with a solid foundation and framework is going to build a life of success and gratitude. Your best self lives here, once you have done the work. Did you do the work – if so, enjoy the journey!

Pitfalls 22: Health
Health – You cannot accomplish a dream or complete your vision if you let your health suffer. A person without the necessary physical AND mental strength will not survive the journey. What do you do to prepare for this inevitable pitfall?

Pitfalls 23: Money
Money – For some, the dream is money (wealth). At the same time, the thinking is they will learn about money once they have it. That is a terrible plan. Stop assuming you know all about money. You don’t. The debt in this country doesn’t lie. Don’t become another stat.

Pitfalls 24: Survival
Survival – Nodes are going to happen, plan or no plan. Do you have the proper knowledge and experience to overcome them when they do? Most don’t, which is why so few dreams are realized. Put aside the excuse of not having time and get yourself educated on what to do when everyone else is panicking.

-
Pitfalls 25: Leadership
Leadership – Are you a leader? Know what is expected of one? If everyone knows what a leader is and what is expected, why do we have so many bad ones? I can tell you, it always comes down to assumptions and ego. How’s yours?

Pitfalls 26: Relationships
Relationships – Ah, the dream killers. Pick the right one and your odds improve dramatically (of achieving your dream). Pick the wrong one and nothing kills a dream faster. The key is whether you can get on the same page. Or not.

Lesson 27: Conclusion
Conclusion – There are no more excuses. You know what to do, how to do it, and what to look for. Do you believe in yourself? Are you willing to prove it? Now is the time. Now.
Become what you have always wanted to be, your best self. Godspeed!
